Also known as Prairie Larkspur and Blue Larkspur. 

Carolina Larkspur is a slender, upright perennials, with unbranched stems. It features white to pale blue flowers, and it tends to hybridize and show variations by region. It is native to moist rich woods, thickets, ravines, hill prairies, upland sand prairies, rocky limestone glades, barren savannas, upland rocky woodlands, wooded rocky slopes, dry open woods and railroad right-of-ways.   

Carolina Larkspur is drought tolerant and adapted to a variety of soils. It goes dormant in late summer. It looks best planted in drifts.  

Our Carolina Larkspurs were grown from seed from white blooming plants.
