Fallugia paradoxa (Apache Plume)
$ 16.98
Apache Plume is a show native shrubs featuring white rose-like blooms. After the flowers fade, distinctive feathery, purplish-pink seed plumes cluster at the branch tips for months, said to resemble an Apache headdress. Flowers attract bees and butterflies, the plants shelter wildlife, and the seeds attract birds.
Apache Plume does well in dry, rocky, or caliche soils. It is easy to grow, drought tolerant, and evergreen to 20°F. It reseeds freely, which makes it excellent for erosion control on dry slopes. Cut oldest woody stems to the ground to rejuvenate.
